Sprague River National Forest Picnic Area – Near Bly, Oregon. Nice Picnic Area near River with a short hiking trail along river.
McDonald City Park – Lakeview Oregon. Play structures, swings, picnic areas, and a wading pool (during the summer).
Sunstone Public Collection Area – An area in South Central Oregon where you can collect Oregon Sunstones. You can even camp free anywhere in this area. Very remote, bring plenty of food and water.

Bird Watching – Amazing variety of birds are found here in Lake County.
Fort Rock Natural Area – 64 Miles SE of Bend, Oregon. Near here you will also find Fort Rock Cave
